HRC Technology is designed to reduce both CO2 emissions and the broad toxicity exposures generated by the production and proper use of gasoline in cars.  Indeed, when fully accounted for, the authors believe the significant CO2 emissions reductions and drastic gasoline toxicity reductions may provide almost equal benefit to the population. The full array of Estimated Environmental benefits are significant and compelling:

HRC aviation gasoline provides a solution to eliminate toxic lead additives in aviation gasoline

We support transitioning away from carbon intense fuels, the rapidly developing EV market, solar, wind, and  green power generation.  HRC Fuels place in the effort is to quickly and significantly minimize CO2 emissions, from the existing gasoline automotive fleet.  Consider the following:

  • California and Automakers have mandated and pledged that fossil-fueled vehicles will not be sold with dates ranging from 2030 to 2050.
  • The average age of on road vehicles in the US in 2021 was 12.1 years and rising.  (Bureau of Transportation Statistics).
  • The US EIA projects that “US gasoline demand … will range from 8.7-9.1mn b/d through 2050 as rising fuel-economy and electric vehicle growth offsets a 0.9 %/yr increase in driving by cars and trucks.”  (Argus Media, March 3, 2022, “US oil, gas demand to climb through 2050: EIA”)

We project gasoline demand and the resulting Scope Three CO2 and toxicity emissions will be around for decades.    HRC Technology uniquely provides an array of environmental benefits that no other technology can deliver in scope and timing.  This is THE CHANGE WE NEED NOW!
