President Biden and Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm announced seven regional clean hydrogen hubs selected to receive $7 billion in funding to accelerate the use of low-cost, green hydrogen.

A reliable, green hydrogen supply is a key component of refinery decarbonization plans.  With this supply in place, refineries can begin to reduce their reliance on reformer hydrogen and increase the use of HRC Fuels technology to make paraffinic gasoline.   These changes reduce refinery Scope 2 and Scope 3 CO₂ emissions.
